Bernard Joseph Welch 77, died Sunday March 4, 2012 at The Christs Hospital, Cincinnati,Ohio.

Bernard Joseph Welch was born April 23, 1934 in Maryville Missouri to Frank and Christie (Waldeier) Welch.

Bernard graduated from Parnell High School in 1952. Bernard married Betty Weiderholt August, 1953 in Parnell, Missouri.

Bernard was a businessman who owned and operated "Best-Bi Market" in Parnell. He was a member of Parnell Lions Club, American Legion and Full Gospel Businessmens Association.

He was preceded in death by a baby daughter Carolyn, sister Rose Mary Welch, and brothers Bobby,Victor,Sylvester, Francis and Jim Welch.

Survivors include his children: Joe (Amy) Welch, Milo, Iowa, Julie Harpe, Rapid City, South Dakota, James (Cindy) Welch, Ravenwood, Missouri, Janet (Mike) Cole, Orrick, Missouri, 16 grandchildren, 4 stepgrandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, brothers Bill Welch,Maryville, Larry Welch, Fairfield, California. numerous nieces, nephews and friends, his family in Christ at Presentation Ministries: Debbie Haas, Betty Orlando and Carl Fox.

A Rosary will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Parnell, Friday, March 9, 2012, at 5:30 PM followed by a visitation at the church from 6:00-8:00 PM.

The Funeral Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Parnell, Mo.
