Mary Margaret Lewis, 92, Ravenwood, Missouri, died Thursday, February 09, 2012, at her home.

She was born March 11, 1919, in Gentry County,Missouri to Roy and Leola Liggett Grantham.

A graduate of Stanberry High School and Northwest Missouri State University (Masters and BS) in Elementary Education. Mary Margaret retired from Northeast Nodaway School District in 1984.

She married Burton Keller Lewis May 01, 1944, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Mary Margaret was a member of the Ravenwood United Methodist Church, UMW, Excelsior Club and a volunteer for the Nodaway Senior Center.

Preceding her in death; husband, Burton Keller (B.K.) Lewis (Feb. 1, 1980).

Survivors include: three sons, Galen (Donna) Lewis, Dale (Beverly) Lewis, both of Maryville, MO, David (Brenda) Lewis, Ravenwood, MO, sister Madonna Wilson, Keene, TX, four grandchildren, Lisa (Adam) Schieber, Dallas, TX, Brian (Sharon) Lewis, Austin, TX, Douglas (Meggie) Lewis, Kansas City, MO, Mark Lewis, Maryville, MO, two great grandchildren, Holly and Wesley Schieber.

Visitation is 2-4 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2012, at Ravenwood United Methodist Church. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
