Patricia Ruth Wilmes, 77, Ravenwood, Missouri died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Village Care Center, Inc in Maryville, Missouri.

Patricia was born April 23, 1934 in Maryville, Missouri to Alphonsus and Eunice Miller Madden. She married William "Bill" Wilmes February 9, 1954 at St. Patrick's Church, Maryville, Missouri.

A graduate of Ravenwood High School and Northwest Missouri State Teachers College, she was a homemaker and an educator teaching in the Stanberry School District for twenty one years before retiring.

She was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church and Altar Society, Conception Junction, Misssouri Parkinson's Support Group and the Missouri State Teachers Association.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers Don, Jerry and Jim Madden.

Surviving are her husband Bill Wilmes of the home at Ravenwood, Missouri, three sons Dr. Jerry (Robin) Wilmes, Maryville, Larry (Peggy)Wilmes, Ravenwood, and Jerome (Karol) Wilmes, Skidmore, and daughters Cathy (Chris) Oelze, Margie (Wayne) Canon, Ravenwood, Alice (Mark) Schieffer, Maryville, 22 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, brother Kenny (Carol) Madden, Stanberry, Missouri, sisters Martha (Bob) Pope, and Edna Schafer, Maryville, and Mary Coleman, Savannah, Missouri, Barbara (Jerry) O'Connell, Maryville, Carole (Byron) Duke, St. Joseph, Missouri, Ellen (Jim) Bolger, Savannah, two sisters- in- law Wilma Madden, Mankato, Minnesota, and Connie Madden, St. Joseph.

A parish rosary will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, Missouri with a visitation following from 6:30 - 8:00 PM .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, November 18, at St. Columba Church with burial at St. Columba Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to SSM Hospice of Northwest Missouri, Maryville, Missouri.
