Thelma Womack Kerwin, 91, of Parnell, Missouri died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St Joseph, Missouri.

She was born April 10, 1919 in Ravenwood, Missouri, the daughter of Herman Sr. and Lora Beatrix (Severe) Womack. Thelma married Fred Thomas Kerwin on February 20, 1939 in Parnell, Missouri.

 A homemaker, Mrs. Kerwin was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, St Ann’s Altar Society, and the Grantham Homemakers Club, Parnell.

 She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Kerwin (February 25, 2009); her parents; three brothers: Dean, Herman Jr and Gerald Womack; three grandchildren: Kyle Wells, Shelly Schubert and Tasha Roberts.

 Survivors include her children: Gary (Raylene) Kerwin, Ravenwood, Missouri; Marlin Kerwin, Dearborn, Missouri; and: Rose Wells, St Joseph, Missouri; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, a sister: Lois Farnan, Maryville, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

 Visitation is 6-7 p.m. Friday September, 3, 2010 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Parnell, followed by a prayer service at 7 pm.

 Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial is in Seven Dolors Cemetery, Parnell, Missouri.
