Philip Edward Tobin, 78, of Maryville, Missouri, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 , at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville.

 He was born September 4, 1931 in Maryville, Missouri the son of Thomas Joseph and Edna Mae (O’Day) Tobin. He was a 1949 graduate of Maryville High School and married Eilene Marie O’Connor on September 3, 1956, in St. Joseph, Missouri.                              

 A member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Community, Phil retired as Superintendent of Maintenance at Maryville Housing after 25 years of service.

 He was preceded in death by his wife: Eilene Tobin (October 24, 2007); his parents; a brother: Kenneth Tobin and sisters: Thelma Moyer and Marcella Wiles.

 Survivors include his children and their spouses: Chris and Lisa Tobin, Lenexa, Kansas, Dee and Dan Henry, Louisville, Nebraska, Leesa and Kevin Clausen, Havelock, Iowa, Terri and Chris Ryan, Lee's Summit, Missouri, Patrick and Brenda Tobin, Byram, Mississippi, 12 grandchildren; brothers: Larry (Alicia) Tobin and Jerry Tobin, Maryville and many nieces and nephews.

 Visitation is 6-7pm Friday, August 27, 2010 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, with a Family and Parish Rosary Service at 7 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri  

Military Services will be conducted at graveside by The Missouri Honors Detail and James Edward Gray American Legion Post 100.
