Colene Ann Meyer, 73, Maryville, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville.
Colene was born June 26, 1937, in Maryville to Robert Wendell and Jessie Griffey Hughes.
A 1955 graduate Maryville High School, she also received a 1959 BS in Education degree in Home Economics from Northwest Missouri State College.
She married Lawrence "Tiny" Meyer April 19, 1980, in Maryville.
Colene was a member of the St Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church, Kappa Omicron Phi, Delta Zeta Sorority and the Knabb Club.
Preceding in death were her parents and first husband Joe Scott (March 1, 2001).
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; son, J.B. Scott, Odessa, MO; two daughters: Marcalene (Randy) DeField, Ozark, MO and Beth (Chuck) Schneider, Westfield, IN; five grandchildren: Kevin DeField, Emily Schneider, Meagan Schneider, Hunter Scott and Hannah Scott; brother, Wendell Hughes, Maitland, MO.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am also at the Price Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maryville.

Located approximately 45 minutes North of St. Joseph, Missouri, via Interstate 29 North to US 71 North (Exit 56A), Price Funeral Home is located at the corner of First and Market in Maryville, Missouri.
Coming from the South: Stay on US 71 North (1st stop light) to the intersection of MO 46 & US 71/136 Highways (2nd Stop Light). At the light turn left onto MO 46 West, continue going straight West 14 blocks. Turn left on Market, and the funeral home parking lots (upper and lower levels) are to the left.
Coming from the North: Stay on US 71/136 South (1st stop light) to the intersection of MO 46/US136. Merge right onto MO 46 West, continue straight on First Street traveling 14 blocks to Market (turn left), and the parking lots are on the east side of Market Street.
Coming from the East: Stay on MO46/US136 West (1st stop light), continue straight on First Street to the intersection of Market Street. Turn left and the parking lots are on the left.
Coming from the West: Stay on MO46 East (First Street), continue on through 1st stop light (First and Main), go one block East, turn right on Market, and parking is on the left.
