Louis Null, 69, of Hopkins, Missouri passed away Monday, May 3, 2010, working at the farm he so loved.
He was born September 8, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Paul and Emma Jane (Heston) Null. Louis was a 1958 graduate of the Springboro, Ohio High School, where he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. He then joined the U S Marine Corp. On March 2, 1963 he married Sharon Elaine Shepherd, in Carlisle, Ohio.
The Null family moved to Hopkins in 1982 after purchasing a farm there and became members of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, Missouri
Sharon died of cancer in 1988. On April 9, 1994 Louis married Beverly Miller in Savannah, Missouri. She brought four children to his family.
Survivors include his wife: Beverly Null, of their home in Hopkins; their children: Louis Heston (Donna Jean) Null, Westphalia, Missouri; Kathy (Dick) Hill, Centerville, Ohio; Kim (Joe) Brand, Salem, Missouri; Emily (Bill) Wireman, Spartanburg, South Carolina; Mitch (Barbara) Miller, Savannah, Julie (Steve) Bogart, Platte City, Missouri; Diane (Ted) Pierce and Kathy (Keith) Walsh, both of Savannah; twelve grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is 5 - 7 pm, Friday, May 7, 2010, at Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville with Funeral Services at 7 pm.
Burial is in Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio. Services there will be 2pm Monday, May 10th at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with visitation from 12-2pm.
Memorials may be made to the Community Center, Hopkins, Missouri or the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, Missouri.
