Doris (Pfeiffer) Weber 83, Pickering, Missouri, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 14, 2007 at St Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri. She was born June 13, 1924 in Pickering, the daughter of Guy and Elsie (Chambers) Pfeiffer. A 1942 graduate of Pickering High School, she married Donald Weber on February 22, 1947 in Maryville. Doris had worked at Eveready Battery Plant, and was a member of St Gregory Barbarigo Parish and St Gregory's Guild, Maryville. She loved the outdoors, horses, bowling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Glenn"Pete" Pfeiffer. Survivors include her husband Donald of their home; a daughter Donna Sue and her husband Larry Fine, Bowling Green, Missouri; a son Gary Joe and his wife Bonnie Weber, Savannah, Missouri; 4 granddaughters: Heather and Doug Korte, Julie and Jeremy Gilbert, Keli and Lonnie Morris and Keri and Daniel Richey; and 5 great-grandchildren. The Legion of Mary Rosary and Prayer Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2007 with visitation to follow from 3-4 P.M. at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. A Memorial Mass will be at 11AM, Monday, September 17, 2007, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Maryville. Memorials may be made to St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Community in Doris's name.
