Terry Roger McIntosh, 67, Hopkins, Missouri died on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at his home in rural Hopkins.
Born November 18, 1944 in Quitman, Missouri, he was the son of the late Howard and Dorotha McIntosh.
He graduated from Maryville High School in 1962 and continued his education at Northwest Missouri State College where he obtained a bachelor degree in biology and English in 1967.
Terry joined the United States Navy in 1967 where he served three years.
He worked in heavy construction while living in Nashville, TN before returning to the Hopkins area and retiring from Laclede Chain.
As a true outdoorsman, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. Terry's idea of a good time consisted of Coors Light and nature. Anytime he could be outdoors was a happy time. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was playing the guitar in his younger years or later in life sharing his words of wisdom and stories of his incredible experiences.
Terry was preceded in death was his mother Dorotha McIntosh and grandparents Fred and Millie Miller.
Left to cherish his memory is a vast array of friends and family.
Memorial Graveside services and inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 2:30 PM at the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, MO. Missouri Military Honors will be under the direction of the James Edward Gray Post 100 Maryville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
